Contract:
Full-time, permanent

The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced, commercially driven Senior Amazon Marketplace Manager to grow our client's Amazon business from approximately £1.5–2 million to £5 million+ in annual revenue.
This is a hands-on role with full responsibility for Amazon growth, profitability, advertising, listings, stock management and day-to-day account operations.
Experience growing an Amazon account to £5 million+ annual revenue or delivered significant growth on an account already exceeding this level. Maintaining a large account or quoting combined agency portfolio revenue will not meet this requirement.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial Growth: Develop and deliver a costed growth strategy, manage channel profitability, pricing, promotions and product launches, and identify new sales opportunities.
- Amazon Advertising: Personally manage and optimise PPC campaigns, including Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands, controlling budgets, targeting, bids and advertising performance.
- Listings and Conversion: Improve product listings, SEO, images, A+ Content, Brand Stores and product launches to increase visibility and conversion.
- Account Management: Own Seller Central and Vendor Central where applicable, account health, catalogue accuracy, policy compliance and issue resolution.
- Stock and Operations: Manage FBA replenishment, demand forecasting, inventory availability, fulfilment issues, returns and reimbursements.
- Financial Reporting: Monitor sales, advertising costs, Amazon fees and contribution profit, working closely with finance and operational teams.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with marketing, creative, warehouse, supply chain and quality teams to ensure efficient account management and sustainable growth.
Essential Experience
- Proven personal responsibility for growing an Amazon account to £5 million+ annual revenue, or significantly growing an account already above this level.
- Strong hands-on experience managing Amazon PPC, Seller Central, FBA, listings and catalogue administration.
- A track record of improving profitability, advertising efficiency and commercial performance.
- Strong analytical skills, advanced Excel or Google Sheets capability, and experience with Amazon reporting and research tools.
- Excellent commercial judgement, organisation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and attend the Nottingham-area workplace regularly.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate previous account growth, including starting and ending revenue, dates, marketplaces covered and their individual contribution.
Desirable Experience
- Food, drink, grocery, FMCG or frequently repurchased consumer products.
- Experience growing a single brand account from approximately £1–2 million to £5 million+.
- Vendor Central, international marketplaces, Brand Registry and marketplace integrations.
- Experience managing expiry-sensitive stock or developing an Amazon team.
What Success Looks Like
The primary objective is to achieve £5 million+ in annual Amazon revenue while delivering agreed contribution profit targets.
The successful candidate will complete an initial account audit, establish a costed growth plan within the first 60 days and demonstrate measurable progress against agreed commercial and operational targets within 90 days.
