Works Planner (£23,000 per Annum pro rota) Based in Derby

Company

You will be working for a large Social Housing Organisation giving you an ideal opportunity to enhance your career and CV

Job Role

You will meet the customers needs by effectively deploying the organisations resources to make repairs to properties.
You will operate the organisations systems to ensure that planning, finance and administration tasks are maintained to enable the company to meet all of its contractual and performance targets.
You will liaise with customers, arrange appointments and maintain relevant up to date progress on work being undertaken and dispatch information on completion of work.
You will liaise with the clients to ensure data is maintained , and to assist with queries.
You will Schedule and allocate work to operational staff to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness.
You will maintain all records in accordance with business requirements and management instructions for the purpose of invoicing and KPI reporting.
You will be responsible for for the procurement of materials and services to maintain operational efficiency and effectiveness.
You will attend customer meetings as required providing all relevant up to date information
You will promote a professional and business like image of the company at all times both internally and externally.
You will send weekly BACs remittances to suppliers.
You will work cooperatively and supportively with all colleagues and you will strive for excellence.
You will make clear decisions and deal positively with challenges that may arise.
You will communicate clearly with people inside and outside the company.

Person

You will have at least 3 GCSE's at grade C or above including Maths and English. You must proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, and also be proficient in using desktop PC software tools.
You will have a proven background in a customer service focused environment.
Y
ou would preferably have experience of using database systems (Northgate Housing Management systems / DRS.
Related knowledge of construction would be preferably.
