An opportunity has arisen for an ambitious individual to develop their logistics, warehousing and distribution career as Warehouse Returns Shift Supervisor with a well known and hugely successful retail fashion company on a full-time, permanent basis in Burnley, Lancashire. This is a truly exciting time to join the company, as they continue to successfully grow their brand. The company currently has two vacancies, one on days (6am to 6pm) and one on nights (6pm to 6am) working on a three on three off basis.

You will come from a warehouse environment previously, and you will take responsibility for the management of worldwide returned goods to the operation. This includes all activities related to returns flow, reverse logistics, returns prevention and backward flow of product to maximise resale potential. You will have a team of operators as direct reports on a 24/7 shift rotation basis. You will have experience of managing returns flow via multiple channels striving to enhance customer retention/relations. In addition to the above you will liaise with carriers to ensure prompt return of orders and initiate new return services. Further duties will extend to manging the credit process to ensure prompt refund, allocating returned stock and liaison with third party operations to maintain speed and quality of returns at international returns centres.

Your background would ideally show some E-commerce experience, but any fulfilment/3PL experience will also be important. You need a background of managing groups of staff and experience of overseeing KPI's and performance management to allow sustained performance growth as well as forward planning for worldwide expansion.

This is a high pressure, fast moving operation and would suit an ambitious, forward thinking and dynamic individual who has a real focus on the customer. As a natural leader, you will possess excellent communication skills and have a positive, can-do attitude. Continuous Improvement will come naturally to you.
