Warehouse Planning Manager (Northamptonshire)

Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Planning Manager to join a hugely successful 3PL logistics business that operates within retail fashion, ecommerce, centric and bonded operations.

This is a truly exciting time to join their organisation at their Northamptonshire site as they continue to develop the warehouse function following unprecedented growth, something that is expected to continue well into the future. You will join a fast paced, friendly business, managing a team of shift operatives whilst reporting into the Operations Manager.

You will ensure effective implementation of all short, medium and long term planning activities and be responsible for the development and management of the warehouse planning schedule. You will lead new model launches, develop and manage budgets. You will be an advocate of Continuous Improvement initiatives and excel within change management leadership and project management. You will implement lean logistics principles into the warehouse function and be a key focal point for the blue chip customer.

The successful candidate will have warehouse solution design experience, experience leading a team within a planning/solutions environment, have 3PL experience and have experience in budget management. You will possess strong influencing and customer service skills, have the ability to thrive under pressure and have first rate problem solving skills. The successful candidate will have experience in using various WMS.

Innovation and a desire to assist the Company by being able to continually evolve and lead its colleagues fairly and consistently are a prerequisite for success.

Whilst the role is Monday to Friday, you must be flexible in regards to hours of work and when required to be able to commit to overtime during peak periods.
