Job Description

We are recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Manager join a well established and successful 3PL logistics organisation at their site based in Leicestershire. This is an exciting time to join the company as they continue to grow their business and expand their ever growing team.

You will ensure that warehouse operational costs are maintained within budget, implement and maintain reports for the warehouse operation including volumes, Health & Safety, KPI's and productivity reports.

The successful candidate will provide regular and ad-hoc operational reports and ensure all training requirements are met and regularly reviewed whilst ensuring compliance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).

You will manage, support and coach warehouse staff, leading employees to create a culture which encourages safe behaviour and environmental best practice.

You will guarantee all matters of performance or capability are managed in line with company procedure and delivery targets are met along with excellent communication skills and the ability to delegate whilst having the ability to work under pressure. You will also maintain the auditability and traceability of product movements.

My client is looking for an influential hands-on leader who is confident at implementing new protocols that will enhance the efficiently of the workforce. You will need experience as a Warehouse Manager and have the ability to demonstrate sound leadership and people management skills. It is required that you possess good Excel skills (V-Look Ups and Pivot Tables experience would be advantageous).

Proven experience with WMS is an essential requirement for this role. JDA or Red Prairie would be an advantage.

Salary for this opportunity is £40k plus bonus (Variable %).

The hours for this opportunity are Monday to Friday (standard office hours), with some flexibility at the needs of the business.
