Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Warehouse & Facilities Manager to join a hugely successful specialist electrical component distribution business on a full time basis at their state of the art facility in Milton Keynes. The company is experiencing rapid growth, has a global presence and is a leader in their field. They are keen to hear from talented individuals who thrive on the responsibility of managing all on-site stock, storage and health & safety and very much want to make the job their own.

It is essential that you have a proven track record in warehouse, facilities and distribution management with a demonstrable background of leading and managing staff to include training whilst being both engaging and motivational. You will lead from the front, ensure your team feels valued, and that their contribution is recognised and rewarded - a firm but fair approach when required. You will also ensure that business critical KPI's are achieved in respect of delivery, quality, productivity and cost.

You will have sound appreciation of stock management and the efficient storage and distribution of goods; have experience of managing rework projects in addition to overseeing elements of the transport operation. You will be IT proficient, (ideally with knowledge of SAP) and be fully H&S aware with regards to security and hygiene.

As an individual you will have a natural focus on continuous improvement initiatives and enjoy finding creative solutions to make the operation run as smoothly as possible. You will possess excellent communication and organisational skills and have sound analytical and problem solving skills with an ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Experience with ISO standards would provide an advantage.
