Barker Ross are recruiting for a Transport/Logistics Clerk/ Admin to join our client in Minworth, Sutton Coldfield.
The role is Monday to Friday 09.00-17.30 - Overtime also available
Pays rate £9.00 per hour
Day to Day duties are:
- Dealing with customer and drivers queries in a professional and timely manner
- Have good administration skills as the role is demanding on emails and responding back to clients
- Briefing in and out Drivers
- Dealing with vehicles breakdowns and other issues whilst out on road, Is the driver on time for delivery etc.. Traffic problems?
- General Transport office Admin, Paperwork..
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Computer literate with a working knowledge of Excel and Word
- Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
- Accurate data entry skills
- To work under pressure and use your own initiate
- Road Freight or European Road Freight experience preferred but not necessary as training is provided.
