Transport Administrator

Job Description

We are looking for a Transport Administrator to work for our waste client based in Saltley, Birmingham.

This is an ongoing part time position, Monday to Friday 08.00 - 16.30

We are looking for honest and enthusiastic candidates to contribute to the smooth and efficient operational activities within the Transport department in order to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Jobs will involve gaining a working knowledge of all aspects of the transport operation to be able to provide cover in all areas.

The duties include:

  • Answering and receiving phone calls
  • Liaising with Customers
  • Speaking to Drivers
  • Completing relevant paperwork and traffic sheets
  • Monitoring Daily plans

Candidates are expected to have a degree in flexibility within the role.

A working knowledge of driver regulations and previous experience within the Logistics industry will give you a wider operational understanding, however this is not necessary.
