Senior Support Worker
£16,200 Per annum
Knowledge and experience of working in a Senior Role
We are currently looking to recruit a Senior Support Worker to work in our Supported Living service in Leeds where you will be part of a team supporting 4 Females in their own home.
20 days paid annual leave (plus 8 bank holidays , pro rata for part time) , which increases after 3 and 5 years service
Who we are looking for
We have an opportunity for a Senior Support Worker to join us and support individuals to live the lives they choose. Because we are all different, your role as a Senior Support Worker will be varied - what you do and how you do it will depend on the needs of the individuals you are supporting. You will have the opportunity to get involved in the leadership of the service, helping to organise rotas, maintain records and supervise colleagues.
Requirements for the role
- Experience of working as a Senior in a previous post
- Able to rota staff manage and delegate
- Administer medication
- Personal Care Moving handling and hoist
- Provide a safe and happy environment for clients to live in
- Write care pland and risk assessments
- Attend professionals meetings
- Work on a flexible rolling rota
- Provide complex care i.e stoma, peg, observations
- Have an NVQ L3 in Health and Social Care
- Have a good understanding of Learning difficulty and challenging behaviour
