Job Description

Barker Ross Health & Social Care are working with a small provider of Therapeutic EBD Residential Childcare . We are currently recruiting for a Registered Manager for their 4 bedded home based in on the boarder of Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire.

The role of a Registered Manager of the Residential Care services is a very varied and constantly changing role because you will be responsible for all aspects of the home. This role is very fast paced role and you will need to be able to think on your feet and think outside of the box.

You will need to be highly organised and have strong diary management skills.

The list of tasks which you will be undertaking is extensive, but below is a brief over view:

Conducting and participating in Team and resident's meetings.

Being responsible for all aspects for health and safety within the home's

Making sure an excellent standard of person centred care is being delivered across all sites

Completing the staffing Rotas making sure the staffing ratios are adhered to at all times

Making sure that company Policies and Procedures are being followed at all times

Liaising with external stake holders, which includes: Social Worker's, GP's and Families.

The Ideal person for the Registered Manager would be:

Experienced in Caring for Children and Young People who display challenging behaviours

Up to date with all Ofsted legislations

Completed QCF/ Level 3 in Children & Young People work

Will consider an experienced Deputy manager from the children's services who is looking to progress

QCF Level 5 in Social Care management, or if not willingness to undertake this qualification when in position

Car Driver with access to own car due to the location of the home

This is an excellent opportunity for a registered Manager to join a small but growing provider, they are looking to expand and they also have their own education provider.

There will be plenty of opportunities to develop and progress because the client's strategic growth plan is to grow 100% over the next 18/24 months.
