Barker Ross Health and Social Care are looking to recruit experienced Residential Child Care Workers for a key client within the Merseyside area.
Our client is a progressive and forward thinking organisation. Their homes are Ofsted registered and have a therapeutic approach that provides a stable, safe secure home for children and young people from age 10-18 years.
Their aim is to provide a caring/nurturing environment for Children and Young People that have been assessed as being in need of residential care, providing therapeutic input and assessment and addressing individual needs through education, planned social activities, direct work and one to one therapy.
As a Residential Child Care Worker your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring the highest standards of care in relation to the children's physical, behavioural and emotional needs.
- Acting with integrity, honesty and child centred practice at all times.
- Working as a member of a staff team and wider organisation supporting colleagues.
- Shift Patterns: 07.30am-22.00 sleep in - 1 on 2 off basis (3 week rolling rota)
You should have previous experience of working as a Residential Child Care Worker and have a proactive and positive approach. Ideally you should have and NVQ3 in Children & Young people or equivalent qualification.
In return you will be offered the highest level of training including self-harm, child sexual exploitation and safeguarding, alongside the organisations specialist training programmes.
