Job Description

Position: Repairs Supervisor / Trades Supervisor (Social Housing)
Sector: Social Housing / Responsive Repairs / Reactive Repairs / Voids
Location: North-West London
Package: Temporary to Permanent - £36,000 (Permanent) + Vehicle & Fuel Card + Laptop + Perks

Reporting to: Project Manager

The day to day supervision of operatives within the Reactive Repairs and maintenance on residential properties.
Reactive, Responsive repairs including voids
Offer support to other departments with regards to repair and maintenance issues, working closely with the Maintenance/Project Manager.

Plumbing and heating repairs to social housing properties
Carry out regular van checks, PPE checks and site inspections
Replacing sanitary ware / showers
Working in boiler houses and plant rooms
Completing method statements and risk assessments
Adhere to company strategic objectives
Organisation and capability to meet deadlines
Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Set and monitor individual/group targets
Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Identifying areas for improvement within company's contracting processes.

Experience/knowledge required
Proven main contractor experience working in a commercial and/or residential role on Reactive/Responsive Repairs and Voids contracts within the social housing sector.
Full knowledge and experience as a Plumber/Multi Trader/Supervisor/Manager
Manage record keeping for all contract related correspondence and documentation
Good communication and time management skills
Full Driving License
Knowledge and understanding of contractual obligations under various forms of contracts
Excellent IT skills including the use of internal cost systems and particularly advanced in Excel.
