Our client based in Newark is one of Europe's leading repair centres and they are looking for several Repair Technicians to join their team as soon as possible.
The hours are based on a shift pattern working 4 days on 4 days off 7:00am - 6:30pm, finishing 1 hour earlier on your last day on shift.
This will be a temporary on going position, with the potential to gain a permanent contract based upon performance. The role is paying £9.30 per hour, increasing to £9.80 after training.
You will be repairing high end customer products for the largest high street retailer in the country and providing a high quality service through strong standards of your repairs which will include modular replacement, component level repairs as well as initial fault finding diagnostics.
A 10 question paper test will need to be completed in our Lincoln Office in order to qualify for the role. Following that, a practical test will then need to be completed on site.
Successful candidates must have the following experience:-
- Excellent knowledge of common software and hardware configurations
- Excellent awareness of health & safety as well as electrical safety
- Competent in the use of diagnostic and test equipment
- Experience in modular/component repair
- Previous electronic experience
- Excellent logical diagnostic skills
- PC Literate
