Our client is a leading specialist food manufacturing business. Due to continued success they are now looking to recruit a permanent Quality Manager for their Milton Keynes site.
Duties for the Quality Manager role include taking full responsibility for the implementation, maintenance, review and improvement of the overall food safety and quality system and all manufactured products to ensure they meet the necessary quality parameters in relation to product specification and commercial implications as well as investigating any non conformance. You will champion good manufacturing processes to ensure that the areas meet all technical requirements and continually review working practices to optimise product quality and food safety systems in line with BRC and HACCP. You will be managing a small team of QAs and supporting them through inductions and any challenges.
The ideal Quality Manager will have gained previous Quality Manager experience within the chilled food manufacturing sector particularly around BRC Audits and HACCP activities. You should have at least 2 years experience in a similar food industry role and proven leadership experience with a confident but supportive approach.
