Qualified Social Worker (Children and Families) Temporary contract
An opportunity is available for an experienced social worker with experience in a duty and assessment team to cover maternity leave.
This is an opportunity to provide a professional social work service and achieve good outcomes for service users, their families and carers.
The role will require experience of having carried out:
- Section 47 enquiries
- Initial assessments
- Core assessments
- Providing information and advice
- Follow up calls on new clients
- Completing home visits
You must hold a social work qualification (BA / MA Social Work / DipSW or equivalent), and hold current HCPC registration.
Working within the children and families team to undertake statutory work. You will also be conducting preventative and therapeutic work with families.
Post qualified experience is essential for this role.
It would be an advantage if you are a driver.
