Qualified Social Worker (Children in Need/CP/Assessment) Temporary contract
This is an opportunity to provide a professional social work service and achieve good outcomes for service users, their families and carers.
The role requires experiences of having completed Single Assessments in a timely and concise manner to inform decision making. You will be able to gain children's wishes and feelings, make observations of non-verbal children and their parents
As a social worker you must be able to complete sec tion 47 enquiries, assessing risks to children with sound knowledge of risk assessment tools and must be able to progress Child Protection Plans and Children in Need Plans in a timely and solution focused manner .
The role will cover Initial Court Statements and progress initial Looked After Children Plan. This requires working knowledge of the Children Act 1989 and all subsequent amendments and related child care legislation is essential
You must hold a social work qualification (BA / MA Social Work / DipSW or equivalent), and hold current HCPC registration.
You must have experience of working in a similar role.
All appointments are subject to 5 Years referencing and a DBS check.
