Barker Ross is recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join UK's leading choice in cost-effective, innovative and effective supply chain solutions in the Lincolnshire area, on a permanent basis.
You will be responsible for maintaining and recording accurate records for Purchase Ledger and reporting to the Purchase Ledger Manager.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and Word is also essential (training will be provided for in-house software).
It is essential to have experience working in a fast paced role and to have a good standard of education including Maths at GCSC level or equivalent relevant qualifications.
Previous experience in Purchase ledger, direct supplier contact and working in an accounts office environment would be an advantage.
The ideal candidate will need to work well in a team and as an individual, excellent communication is essential and also be willing to be flexible, if additional hours are needed.
You must have a genuine 'can do' attitude towards work with an eagerness to get the job done.
You must be able to use your own initiative, prioritise, plan ahead and resolve problems before they arise.
You must be attentive to detail and able to spot/resolve errors and queries as accuracy is key.
Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am-5.30pm.
Salary: £17,430 per year plus benefits.
