Job Description

Programme Manager (Perm) Derby area £37,000 to £40,000 per annum


You will be working for a large social housing organisation giving you a great opportunity to enhance your career and CV

Job Role

You will effectively manage and control programmed and minor capital work projects to ensure the provision of an effective and best value service.
You will ensure team members assess, specify and value the extent of the work to be undertaken through a comprehensive inspection process of each property, as necessary, in full compliance with client budgetary and policy constraints, the relevant contract terms, conditions and specification including all specialists, material and equipment required, bearing in mind health and safety related policies and procedures.

You will effectively manage client relationships, ensure KPI`s are met and all works are completed on time, within budget and to the agreed standard.
You will ensure full gas compliance throughout the contract area including direct labour and sub-contract labour

You will provide relief cover for the Regional Manager and provide day to day assistance in all aspects of their role.

You will ensure work complies with the current statutory and non-statutory legislation.

You will carry out health and safety audits on all operatives to pre-set frequencies

You will ensure all plant/equipment is tested (COMS) in line with Metworks and Industry guidance


You will have previous experience in data management and have strong administration skills for this role. You would ideally have a background in project management.

You will be able to analyse high volumes of building related data, codify and then translate in to a related project.

You will be qualified to HNC level or equivalent discipline.

You will have experience of working within a social housing sector.

You will need to have experience of managing multiple contract streams, and an ability to develop clear and concise reports and explain problems and outline solutions.

Recent experience in a planning and data management.

You will also have management experience in construction and social housing industry.

It would also be desirable that you have Fire safety knowledge.
