Job Description

Position: Planner / Work Scheduler (Social Housing)
Sector: Social Housing
Location: North-West London
Package: Temporary to Permanent - £23,000 (Permanent) + Perks


Reporting to: Project Manager

Purpose
The day to day supervision and monitoring of work flow/volume
Ability to efficiently meet deadlines
Offer support to other departments with regards to Planning & Scheduling repairs and maintenance issues, whilst closely working with the Project Manager.

Responsibilities
Prioritizing scale of work in order to efficiently meet deadlines
Full knowledge of different processes within designated department(s)
Sound decision making following objective assessment and severity of issues
Completing method statements and risk assessments
Adhere to company strategic objectives
Organisation and capability to meet deadlines
Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Set and monitor individual/group targets
Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Identifying areas for improvement within company's processes.

Experience/knowledge required
Proven main contractor experience working in a Planner/Scheduler role on Reactive/Responsive Repairs and Voids contracts within the social housing sector.
Full knowledge and experience as a Planner/Scheduler
Manage record keeping for all contract related correspondence and documentation
Good communication and time management skills
Knowledge and understanding of contractual obligations under various forms of contracts
Excellent IT skills including the use of internal IT systems.
