Role Installations Coordinator (Leicestershire)

A hugely successful, market-leading manufacturing and distribution business has a fantastic opportunity for an Installations Coordinator to join the business on a full time, permanent basis at their offices in North West Leicestershire. This is a truly exciting time to join the organisation as they continue their unprecedented growth.
Working closely with the installations manager and installations supervisor, you will provide essential office based support for the planning and scheduling of a variety of works for a team of engineers. There will be significant liaison with the customer, field engineers, the parts department, the plant hire company and the transport department and 3rd party carriers. The role will require you to ensure that engineers are booked in to carry out the appropriate works (it will be essential that you obtain all relevant information from the customer to convey this to the engineers so they can complete the works successfully) You will also offer strong administrative support to the team in respect of issuing site specific Risk Assessments and Method Statements, processing of plant and sub-contactor invoices and ordering ad despatching replacement parts from the UK factory.
As an individual you will need to be methodical and highly organised with exceptional scheduling and planning skills. It is essential that you have first class customer service abilities as you will be the point of contact for all customer enquiries and queries, and have a positive, professional and can-do attitude. You will have an ability to build relationships with your customers, the engineers and inter-company departments in order to ensure the work is completed efficiently and without fuss. You will also require a strength of character to deal with pressured situations, and have an ability to keep a calm, level head in liaising with site engineering who can at times be under pressure themselves.
It would be an advantage if you are IT literate and some knowledge of AS400 would be an advantage.
