BarkerRoss Health & Social Care are currently recruiting for a Operations Manager based in Leicestershire. As an Operations Manager you will be overseeing the running of a number Nursing Homes based in Leicestershire.

Our client is a medium sized provider of Nursing Homes, they have over 10 Nationwide.

As the Operations Manager you will be responsible over seeing the running of a group Nursing Homes based across Leicestershire. You will be working very closely with the Registered Home Managers to make sure the home is operating on full capacity and any issue's are dealt with.

As an Operations Manager the role will be very varied and will be ever changing.
The list of duties below is a brief list and there will be more on a day to day basis:
Assisting the Registered Managers in marketing the home and making sure they are running at full occupancy.

Assisting in running daily running of the home when the Registered Manager is away.
Completing audits in homes and making sure that they are all following policy and procedures.
Being a positive presence within the homes for the Residents and the staff.
Holding management meetings
Multi Site Management
Working closely with the Operations Director

The Ideal candidate for the Operations manager will need to be:

  • Nurse Qualified
  • A Registered Manager within a Nursing Home setting.
  • Have Multi Site Management experience
  • A Car Driver with access to own vehicle
  • QCF Level 5 in Social Care Management
  • A strong Commercial awareness
  • Someone who has strong links with the Health & Social Care Sector.
