An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Maintenance Engineer with a Mechanical bias to join our client who is a large business based near Loughborough. They are looking to add a mechanically bias or commercial gas experienced Maintenance Engineer to their fantastic team as soon as possible purely down to growth.

Overview Maintenance Engineer:
With an emphasis on breakdown elimination and preventative maintenance, you will be encouraged to have a direct input into the continuous improvement culture, and have individual project ownership.
The role demands a maintenance trained, mechanically biased individual who can offer at least 3 years' experience in engineering or manufacturing and also hold relevant technical or commercial gas qualifications. The applicant must be conversant with hydraulics, drives, sprockets, chains, bearings and more.
You will be working in a heavy industry environment and will have a "can do" attitude.
Carry out immediate repairs of production equipment and machines in the case of breakdowns with regards to all elements of failure, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic etc., representing Production areas
o Apprenticeship or relevant mechanical or commercial gas qualifications
o Previous experience of working in an Engineering background
o Experience of problem-solving on maintenance, i.e. breakdowns
o Preventative Maintenance Experience
