Job Description
Purpose of Role/ Job Summary:
To effectively and professionally manage the technical, quality and engineering related issues that arise during the
construction process ensuring that solutions support the delivery of the project to time, cost and quality criteria.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage the engineering input to the project strategic plan
Package Manager for the following system(s);
Chilled Water and Drainage installation

Engineering and Design
Participate in the review of the design for build ability
Comment on the form of construction, construction details, specification etc
Respond to technical queries with reference to the appropriate parties
Responsible for the safe delivery, inspection test, commissioning and handover to the end user.

Temporary Works
Supervise the design and construction of all temporary works ensuring they meet with the relevant national
standards and company management system procedures
Support the assignment of temporary works coordinators, personally taking the role if required.
Review designs to ensure that they are safe. Define the engineering requirements required
Ensure that temporary works are installed in accordance with the design

Manage all dimensional control issues
Implement compliance with project documentation and company documentation, i.e. IMS, PEP and KPI's

Project Management
Represent the company at meetings, promoting the correct company image
Ensure that the works are completed in compliance with inspection & test plans and method statements
Maintain records of progress
Input and comment upon project construction issues where appropriate
Mitigate any potential delays

People Management

Co-ordination of package with other team members and their packages

Risk and Opportunity Management
Be aware of the major project risks and work towards minimising them

Health, Safety and Environment
Promote the site safety culture, ensure that all works can be carried out in a controlled and safe manner, in
accordance with statutory regulations, current standards and company health, safety, environmental and quality
Ensure the maintenance of records, including diaries, letters, emails, notices, compliance records/documentation,
as-builts and computer data.
