Highly skilled Manual Miller / Turner - Permanent - Leicester

Salary - £11.00- £14.00 per hour = £22,880.00 - £29,120.00 - this is negotiable and dependant on experience

Hours of work:
Monday - Friday 07:30 - 16:00 with a half hour unpaid lunch
Overtime is very ad hoc and is never expected - if you need to work some additional hours my client will work with you support this if they have the requirement for the work,

PLEASE NOTE: 1 in 3 shifts you will be required to be on call and you will be paid a retainer and this will include Saturday and Sunday 24 hours - this is very sporadic
If you work late you will then be assigned the designated amount of rest time in line with The Working Time Regulations.

A fantastic opportunity is now available to join a leading supplier of precision engineered solutions across a wide range of industries. Our well established client is now seeking an experienced Manual Miller and Turner to join their innovative and expanding workforce.

This excellent opportunity will allow you to use your technical skills as a Manual Machinist whilst being able to grow and develop yourself further with opportunity of future progression should you prove yourself in the role.

The successful candidate will be required to produce high quality work to tight deadlines with the minimum of supervision. My client is seeking an experienced individual with a key focus on quality and efficiency. You will be required to manufacture bespoke parts therefore the ability to read from technical drawings is essential.
You will work on a wide range of one off and prototype manufacturing, meaning your work load will be varied. This will include working with mainly steel, stainless steel and occasionally nylon cast iron and brass for which you will have support if needed.

Holidays 21 days plus bank holidays (an additional 8 days) = 29 days holiday
Onsite facilities include a kitchen area / break room
