Role - Maintenance Engineer
Location - Leicestershire
Salary - £41,000 + Overtime
Shit - 4 days on, 4 off, 4 nights on, 4 off
My Client currently has over 20 sites throughout the UK who specialise in food production. Last year they had a turnover of £1bn and are currently looking to add a Maintenance Engineer to their fantastic team to help keep downtime to a minimum.
Over the years they have invested £millions into the business to help boost production but have also invested a great deal into their staff, not only for development, but for progression as well. With gold accreditations for their customers, it is easy to see why they are one of the top food manufacturers in the UK.
Ideally the Maintenance Engineer will be multiskilled with an electrical bias but they will also look at people who are 50/50. You will be covering both PPM's and Breakdowns across all production machinery against electrical drawings.
Electrically the Maintenance Engineer will be working with sensors, relays, inverters, PLC's and more. You should be comfortable in using a multimeter to fault find.
Mechanically you will be working with bearings, sprockets, chains etc but no welding will be required.
To be successful for this position the Maintenance Engineer will have the following:
· Recognised electrical apprenticeship or equivalent
· Be multiskilled
· Have experience working in an automated environment
· A willingness to progress
