Position Available: Learning Disability Trainer - Ealing, FTC - March 2018, £30,000kpa, 37.5 hrs per week

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Learning Disability Trainer to join their Intensive Support team on a fixed term contract until March 2018 to work within their new campaign which improves access to primary and secondary health care for people with learning disabilities.
As the the Learning Disability Trainer you will be delivering training and facilitating ideas on the adjustments services can make to offer more inclusive and accessible services to better understand how to support people with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism.
You will be providing the training to a diverse audience across a range of settings, including mainstream health professionals and other staff who work in hospitals, communities and clinical services all the while promoting the new mission which is to ensure that people with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism get the best health support possible.
While this position is based in Ealing you will be required to carry out training in other locations and may have to occasionally work out of office hours too.
This role will suit candidates who have an expert understanding and knowledge of:
- Experience of designing and delivering training to a diverse range of audiences
- In depth knowledge of learning disability conditions and issues
- Experience of working alongside and supporting people with learning disabilities
- Experience of delivering work in medical and clinical settings and/or working with health professionals
