Internal Sales Person - Lincoln

Job Description

Our client is a privately owned company based in Lincoln and they are currently seeking a full time Internal Sales Person to join their growing business.

Specialising in aluminium and stainless steel, our client is a well established holder of metal stock and have been supplying into the Lincolnshire, East Midlands and Yorkshire areas for over 30 years. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a very reputable, customer service lead company with the opportunity to develop your career.

The primary responsibilities include:

  • Sales promotion, working closely with field sales team and following up enquires, emails, leads and calls
  • Account management, overseeing current customers needs and ensuring the highest level of customer service is achieved in this customer focused business
  • Travelling to key clients and liaising with the customer to obtain and grow accounts
  • Sales administration, ensuring internal bespoke systems are updated on a daily, weekly and monthly basis

We are looking for someone who has experience within sales, working to targets and KPI's as well as full computer literacy and able to use Microsoft Office programs including Word and Excel.

Hours of work are 8:30am - 5:00pm Monday to Thursday and 8:00am - 4:00pm on Friday's with salary dependant upon experience ranging from £17,000 to £20,000 per annum.

It is essential that the successful candidate has their own transport in order to reach the location of the client and also to attend business development meetings.
