A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR professional to join a leading distributor of maintenance and repair products based at their Leicestershire site. This a key appointment for the business as you will assume a variety of generalist duties that will really help to shape the development of the business, particularly during their exciting time of change and expansion.

The role is fast paced and demanding, but a great chance to join the company at an exciting period of its evolution as further expansion plans are set to continue into the future with new contract wins.

The position would suit a HR Professional, either at the Business Partner level or certainly with a demonstrable background and track record to take that next step. You will show real desire to become fully immersed in working collaboratively with the on-site managers and distribution teams to identify development needs. This may be in the shape of L&D requirements, developing skills matrices or supporting with grievance and disciplinary procedures. In general you will ensure there is synergy in the delivery of the HR messages across the company from both an employee engagement and change management perspective.

In addition to other generalist HR functions you will be pro-active, resilient and self-motivated with a positive way of thinking that you will instil throughout the business. You will have a certain gravitas to gain the trust and confidence of the senior management, with a diplomatic approach to conveying the HR message. It is essential that you build rapport and are a true relationship builder at all levels of the business. Key to this role is certainly your stakeholder engagement, ability to manage change with your open, honest and to the point communication skills.
