An opportunity has arisen for a high calibre, professional HR Advisor to join a market leader in the FMCG logistics industry at their Hatfield site. This is a great role for a dynamic individual to fast track their HR career with a progressive business and work with a fantastic team! It is important that you have experience of case management work, come from an (FMCG) retail background with the likes of Tesco, Waitrose, Morrisons, Asda, Sainsbury's etc…. but are ultimately committed to seriously developing your HR career with a company that can offer autonomy and exposure to a wide variety of HR functions.

You will report directly into the Head of HR and provide essential support in this fast paced and demanding logistics/FMCG environment. The position would suit a HR professional who is looking to take that next important career step. You will enjoy being fully immersed in working collaboratively with the managers to identify development needs for both them and their teams, this will include L&D requirements, developing skills matrices or supporting with grievance and disciplinary procedures as well as assisting with employee engagement and a variety of generalist duties.

As a pro-active, resilient and self-motivated individual with a positive way of thinking, you will instil this philosophy throughout the business. It is important that you can establish credibility quickly with a high degree of professionalism and competence. The business values individuals who are hands-on, want to be involved, enjoy making decisions, and can use their initiative and want to run with ideas!

It is essential that you are highly organised and possess excellent communication skills with an ability to remain calm and focused in what can sometimes be pressured situations. You will show competency in the use of MicroSoft Office Word, demonstrate high levels of professionalism, work with accuracy and discretion and be naturally pro-active. It would be a benefit if you hold some form of HR related qualification or commitment to working towards this. What is important is your work ethic, team focused approach, flexibility, ability to deliver effective results (and retain your sense of humour!)
