An opportunity has arisen for a high calibre, professional HR Administrator to join a market leader in the FMCG logistics industry at their Hatfield site. This is a great role for a dynamic individual to provide essential support to the wider HR department and Head of HR, who will also provide fantastic support and guidance in your role. The position will be varied, challenging, exciting and you will work with a business that really values their employees' contribution. Your remit will include reporting on HR metrics, case assignment work, providing assistance in hiring process activities, general administrative support such as preparing correspondence, arranging meetings and diary management, processing confidential reports and documents, filing (electronically and hard copy), tracking deadlines and taking down minutes as required. Other duties will cover preparing documentation for new employees, or effective changes in pay, status or benefits, providing assistance in monitoring employee performance and appraisals and the handling of inquiries in the absence of the senior HR management team. There will also be an element of PA work for the Business Unit Directors.

It is essential that you are highly organised and possess excellent communication skills with an ability to remain calm and focused in what can sometimes be pressured situations. You will show competency in the use of MicroSoft Office Word, demonstrate high levels of professionalism, work with accuracy and discretion and be naturally pro-active. It would be a benefit if you hold some form of HR related qualification but this is by no means essential. What is important is your work ethic, team focused approach, flexibility, ability to deliver effective results (and retain your sense of humour!)

Salary for this opportunity is £25-£28K (doe) and is a superb opportunity for an individual to become an integral part of the business with genuine career prospects.
