Health & Safety Trainer (Logistics) (Heathrow)

Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a high calibre logistics professional to join a global market leader in the logistics industry in the capacity of Health & Safety Trainer at their Heathrow site.

You will be responsible for the delivery of Legal, Regulatory and Mandatory training such as; dangerous goods, security, manual handling, fire warden, CIS modules, Unit Load Device build-up, providing training of a high standard. You will carry out evaluation and pre/post training performance monitoring, provide feedback and support as appropriate to ensure all learners have the best opportunity to achieve their goals and always meet the needs of all training requirements.

You will excel at prioritising, planning and organising of training courses and maintaining a database record and file management.

Qualifications/Experience required:

  • Training experience
  • Qualifications within training (essential, ability to achieve and maintain)
  • DG CAT6
  • Functional Skills level 2 (English, Maths, ICT)
  • Evidence of continual professional development in delivery areas

As an individual you will be confident, have excellent organisational skills, be flexible, have knowledge of the full training cycle, have excellent presentation and facilitation skills and have determination to see a task through to completion with minimal supervision. You will possess excellent oral and written communication skills and have a proven ability to prioritise and work under pressure while maintaining excellent quality.

Salary for this position is £28k. Flexibility required across shifts in order meeting the demands of business sections, therefore, an additional £2.30 per hour is paid for working hours between 6pm-6am and all weekend work.
