A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Freight Business Development Manager to join a hugely successful multi-modal logistics business.
The focus of the role is to win new business by adding value through the promotion of the company freight services. You will be home based selling in the North (M62 corridor).
You will manage your own diary and develop your own portfolio of opportunities, using the whole sales process from lead generation, appointment making to closing of the account.
The successful candidate will be an experienced sales person from within the freight industry, familiar with selling in the Northern area and able to demonstrate success in the ability to sell multi-modal services with a European road freight bias.
You will also have experience of nurturing and closing key accounts and comfortable dealing with customers at a senior management level. You will be expected to stand on your own feet, use your own initiative and be a self-starter.

Salary for this opportunity is £45k-£50k, dependent on experience.
