Fire Safety Surveyor (£27,000 to £38,000 depending on experience) London Based
You will be working for a large Social Housing Organisation based in the UK giving you an ideal opportunity to enhance your career and CV
You will be responsible for for ensuring the organisations fire risk assessment remedial works are delivered on time, and to the required standard
You will be responsible for providing technical fire safety advice to colleagues across the organisation and be a point of contact for external organisations regarding fire safety.
You will manage contractors to ensure they deliver the fire safety programmes on time and to the required standard.
You will be responsible for providing technical specifications and guidance to contractors to ensure the correct standards of equipment is installed and maintained.
You will attend site to meet with external parties such as the Fire Brigade and take accountability for any actions required.
You must hold a nationally recognised fire safety qualification such as NEBOSH National Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management, Institute of Fire Engineers (IFE) Level 3or similar
You must be a professional member of the Institute of Fire Safety Managers (IFSM) or similar
You must have demonstrable knowledge of the Regulatory reform (fire safety) order 2005and relevant fire safety guidance documents and passive fire safety measures - the fire risk assessment process, and working with external stakeholders in relation to fire safety.
You must be able to demonstrate effective managing of multiple contractors, and be able to manage your own time
You must have a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.
