Our client is now looking for an experienced Electrical Technician to assist in the efficient operation of the electrical function. Reporting to the team leader / shift engineer, you will follow routine planned maintenance schedules, reporting to breakdowns and offer reactive and preventative maintenance to electrical plant when required.
The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role, ideally within a heavy manufacturing industry. Coming from a similar background you will have knowledge of electrical industrial systems, maintenance of PLC and SCARDA systems, fault finding and 17th Edition IEE regulations. You will hold a recognised Electrical apprenticeship (HNC level or equivalent) with the ability to read and understand electrical drawings and work with technical data. Knowledge of calibration systems and electrical maintenance of Motors, Drives (to 1000kW) and Inverters are also a must.
Electrical craft - days based or shift based.
Shift working, combination of 15 or 21 shifts.
