Barker Ross is recruiting for a Customer Service Adviser on a temporary basis.
Location - Shropshire, SY2
Rate of pay - £10.92phr
Hours of work - M-F 9am - 5pm
Contract length - 10/3/2019 - 9/4/19 - subject to extension
We have a vacancy within the Face to Face section of Customer Services at Shropshire Council. You will be providing a face to face customer service role to the residents of Shropshire Council so knowledge of the services provided by a council, knowledge of council systems and being a quick learner would be beneficial. You will be:
* handling enquiries about council services
* helping customers apply for services and report issues
* handling paperwork and verification
* dealing with homelessness and customers in crisis situations
The team deals with face to face enquiries for Shropshire Council but also has the remit of encouraging customers to self-serve by using our telephone and computer facilities at our sites.
