A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join one of the UK's leading manufacturers who due to their continued success and growth are seeking to appoint a customer service advisor within the Coventry area. This is an excellent opportunity to work as part of a growing, busy and highly motivated team, reporting to the Customer Service manager.
The role consist of offering a high level of customer service, dealing with incoming calls from existing customers, the input of orders / data onto the company system, liaising with operational staff, drivers and external sales managers. Transport planning experience would also be an advantage to this role.
Raising quotes and pricing is also key to this role, therefore sales experience would be of benefit.
You will be required to work as part of a team and also on your own initiative.
Qualifications in customer service would be an advantage, however there will be opportunities to have additional training and obtain the relevant NVQ's.
- Track record in customer service related roles
- MS Office skills generally - use of Excel and able to pick up internal systems
- Good level of Maths and English
- Team player
- Able to multi task
- Transport planning background would an advantage
