Children's support worker
Barker Ross is currently looking to recruit children's Support Workers in Newark who have a minimum of 12 months experience and a professional qualification.
I supply into a complex children's homes that have a variety of needs that require key skills
The ideal candidates for this role should be able to carry out their duties to a high standard and provide an excellent duty towards care.
You will need to be able to:
Build a relationship with each child you come in contact with
Protect families by keeping personal information confidential.
Deliver one to one group activities
Undertaking assessments and planning interventions
Plan and provide stimulating play opportunities to encourage children from all backgrounds to Develop and express themselves through play
Engage with children and families in a variety of settings
Keep accurate records and make contribution towards young peoples care plans
Help with general housekeeping duties
Ensure the home is run in line with the relevant policies and procedures.
