CAD Technician (£13.62 paye or £17.17 through Umbrella) Salary when goes to perm up to £30,000 depending on experience. Social housing
You will be working for a large social housing organisation based in London giving you an ideal opportunity to enhance your career and CV
You will assist in the production of the estate plans for all the organisation existing stock.
You will produce property schedules and purchase Land Registry Title and Plan to map an estate plan.
You will be responsible for transferring data from the existing Drawing register to the new Drawing register.
You will be educated with Maths and English GSCE or equivalent. You will also have City & Guilds certificate in AutoCAD
You will have sound working knowledge of AutoCAD releases 2005, 2008 and 2013 LT.
You will have knowledge of building construction, with an understanding of basic surveying skills (building and land surveying)
You will have knowledge of scanning techniques and sound knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
You will have an ability to read technical drawings and basic specifications.
You will have sound knowledge of specialised tools (OS and Land Registry sites)
You will have excellent communication skills and be able to maintain effective working relationships within your team.
You will have sound knowledge and understanding of current Health and Safety procedures.
You must have a minimum of two years AutoCAD experience.
