Job Description

Building Surveyor (£18.67 paye or £23.24 Ltd) short Temporary contract Cambridge

Job Role

You will manage allocated capital maintenance projects, ensuring works are undertaken in a safe and professional manner.

You will provide specialist Building Services and Energy Management advice to the councils housing stock for all maintenance and repairs needed.

You will be responsible for inspecting electrical installations and electrical repairs as requested by the principle surveyor.

You will prepare detailed project reports outlining scheme designs, options, life cycle costings and budget estimates for alterations and/or improvements to properties.

You will be responsible for overseeing tenant liaison during any new installation and upgrading work, ensuring both tenant and contractor are fully aware of the implications of the work and their respective obligations.

Person

You will have considerable relevant experience of building maintenance and repair.

You will have detailed working knowledge of the Building Regulations especially especially in electrical installations.

You will have In depth experience of contract / project management.

You will have a minimum qualification level 4 (min ONC) and have good problems solving skills

You must have detailed working knowledge of the Construction Design and Management Regulations.

You will have a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.
