This is a friendly, successful and growing organisation. The working week is Mon to Fri (days) and you will be a key member of the supervisory team.

Reporting directly into the Warehouse Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing your team within the distribution centre. It is essential that you have a demonstrable track record of man-management, are passionate about delivering results and approach your duties with energy and enthusiasm. Naturally you will be the type of person that motivates your team to go the extra mile and as this position is very hands-on, you will lead by example with a very visible presence on the shop-floor. You will have a natural focus on Continuous Improvement, looking at ways to make the operation ever more efficient.

This can be a high pressure, fast moving operation where careful planning is essential in relation to activities around goods in, wholesale order pick and pack and storage. In addition to physical housekeeping of stock to maximise picking productivity you will ensure H&S and good manual handling practice is adhered to for a safe working environment.

As man-management experience is essential for this role, you will be comfortable guiding and directing your team to manage each of them against their skill sets in the most effective way possible. It would also be an advantage if you possess good IT skills (Excel/Office) and SAGE with WMS knowledge.

This is a genuine chance to make a mark for yourself within the business and further develop your experience within a dynamic organisation!
