Barker Ross is recruiting for an Assistant Insurance Officer to work on a temporary contract in Birmingham.

Contract length:

07/01/2019 - 29/03/2019

Rate of pay:

£10.65 phr

Hours of work:

Monday - Friday - 8.45am - 4.45pm

The post holder will be responsible for;

  • Managing the Council's claims across all classes and liaising with Council services and external claims handlers and Solicitors to support their conclusion.
  • To provide financial support to the Insurance Services team and provide analysis for Insurance proposals, renewals and tender exercises.
  • Assist in managing the various policies and accounts as directed by the Insurance Manager.
  • Provide professional advice and support to the Council and its customers in relation to Insurance matters.
