This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading distributor of abrasives, grinding wheels, cut-off discs and ancillary products for a variety of different sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for opening new business opportunities to assist growth and company success within a range of clients including engineering merchants and welding distributors.
Circa £25,000 to £28,000 per annum plus commission
Fully expensed company car
20 days holiday plus statutory days
Our ideal candidate
Previous experience in a similar field based role is essential
Knowledge of abrasives or similar products is desirable
Resilient and disciplined with the ability to work alone in a field sales role
PC Knowledge and IT proficiency
Organised and able to plan your own diary
Build and use market knowledge to identify potential clients
Convert leads to quotes and quotes to orders
Interpret customer requests when it comes to product enquiries
Use acquired technical knowledge to support existing customers
Any other duties as reasonably requested
