Our client who is a supplier of educational supplies to schools on an international scale has an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Administrator and Bookkeeper to join their team on a full time basis. This position is looking to start as soon as possible and will be recruited on a temporary to permanent basis with working hours of 9:00am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday each week.
We are looking for an experienced candidate who has a good working knowledge of Sage, up to management reporting level with a good understanding of Microsoft packages. Familiarity with QuickBooks would also be an advantage along with an AAT qualification or relevant experience.
Duties of the role will include:-
- Providing financial support to the Directors
- Preparing quarterly accounts for the Directors
- Reconciling bank accounts and credit cards both UK and US
- Paying suppliers
- Dealing with accruals, prepayments and journals
- Completing VAT returns
- Management of both sales and purchase ledger
- Dealing with financial statements
- General day to day administration tasks
