Our client is a highly successful specialist machine company in Northamptonshire
Due to continued growth they are now looking to recruit a permanent Workshop Handy Person / Machine Cleaner.
The Workshop Handy Person / Machine Cleaner role will include: cosmetic work on machinery for refurbishment, cleaning of machines to a high standard, removal of guards, repairing dents and split welds prior to spraying, rubbing down machine frames prior to roller painting, de-rusting of bare metal parts, final cleaning and wrapping of completed machines prior to despatch, and dismantling machines for spare parts.
The successful Workshop Handy Person / Machine Cleaner should have some experience of working with hand tools and heavy lifting. A fork lift licence would be ideal as would spraying experience but these are not essential as full training will be provided.
Benefits for the Workshop Handy Person / Machine Cleaner role include:
£17,000 - £20,000 depending on experience
12.30 finish on a Friday
BUPA healthcare after 6 months
28 days holiday increasing by a day each year up to 33 days
