Opportunities have arisen for ambitious individuals to implement their professional experience as Warehouse Site Planning Analyst, with a dynamic and rapidly expanding logistics provider on a full-time, permanent basis in West Yorkshire. The Warehouse Site Planning Analyst will be accountable for creating and accurately maintaining short, medium and long term site plans. This includes the planning of staff, space and equipment planning whilst also providing commercial insight and analytics to the General Manager.
Your priority responsibility will be to deliver short, medium- & long-term plans based on customer volumes to provide the site with an accurate and informed. You will manage the workforce plan, MHE, operational equipment, plan site capacity and space plan within the site warehouse operation.
Within the role you will review and monitor accuracy of customer forecasts and escalate to Contract Development Manager with any inaccuracies or variances. You will also present on planned versus actual dashboards that highlight variance in volumes and costings. You will report back to management team with insight into variance and where required updated plan to rectify.
The successful candidate will provide innovative and agile solutions to ensure volumes are planned to meet customer requirements and maintain site commercials. You will also maintain and manage the site staff skills training plan, ensuring the site has the right skill set to manage the high profile customers' requirements.
My client is ideally looking for experience of Warehouse Management Systems, experience in the logistics or 3PL industry, knowledge of both closed book and open book operations and possess first-hand operational shop floor experience in a warehouse and logistics environment. If you do not have experience within warehouse operations analytical planning, my client is also open to planning experience associated to the Retail, FMCG and Food sectors.
Salary is £35k to £50k, dependant on experience plus company benefits.
