A really great opportunity has arisen for a candidate with experience within the transport and logistics sector. The role would suit someone Ideally, who comes from a transport planning background or a very strong transport administration background and who enjoys the buzz of a very varied, very fast paced transport office environment. The role is a full-time permanent position (Mon to Fri days) and is based near Bulwell, Nottinghamshire.
You will join a small, friendly and busy transport team where you will be capable of juggling multiple priorities. You will play a key role in ensuring that routes are planned accurately and with optimum efficiency, and that customers are well looked after.
To be successful you will need to show the right attitude, work with a sense of urgency and accuracy and be passionate about delivering an exceptional customer service (you will naturally work to high professional standards) There will also be a strong administrative support function, so exceptional organisational skills will be required. The role is varied and would suit an individual that really just likes to get stuck in and get the job done. The team will be there to support and offer assistance.
The role would suit a flexible, hands-on individual who has similar experience within the logistics sector who is used to working under pressure and to deadlines. You will naturally enjoy taking responsibility for any continuous improvement initiatives that you identify as having a positive impact on the department and to contribute to sharing ideas on how to do things better.
Salary for this opportunity is c£27K to £32K.
