Transport Planner & Administration Assistant - Cannock

Job Description

Our client is a leading specialist in total waste management solutions. They cover a variety of sectors and they currently have an opportunity at their site in Cannock for someone to join their team as a Transport Planner & Admin Assistant on a temporary ongoing basis.

The hours of work are 8am-5pm Monday to Friday and is paying £9.35-£11.28 per hour.

Reporting to the Transport Coordinator, duties of the role will include:-

  • Routing in house drivers' daily work and liaising with subcontractors as required
  • Managing vehicle maintenance schedules and drivers' hours
  • Liaising with customers and co-workers to arrange the efficient collection of hazardous waste
  • Preparing legal paperwork
  • Receipting jobs within the ERP system
  • Generation of weekly/monthly reports
  • General office admin duties

In order to be considered for the role you will need to have a minimum of 1 years' experience working within a transport office/environment.
