An established and successful 3PL distribution business has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, dynamic Transport General Manager to join their expanding business in the Hertfordshire region on a full time, permanent basis.

Customer engagement, and an ability to forge very professional, long term business relationships fostering an environment of trust and support is essential.
You will hold International CPC, be commercially astute (this includes P&L performance) and have proven operational expertise (KPI management, client liaison, maintaining FORS accreditation) as well as being an inspiring man-manger. Your style will be open, honest and motivational, with the ability to identify talent, nurture it and develop future leaders. The nature of the role would suit someone hands-on, has managed single site / multi-site operations, is a true advocate of Continuous Improvement and who, perhaps, enjoys a smaller less corporate, bureaucratic environment.
