This is a varied role and full training will be provided. You will need to be a good communicator, with a strong and positive approach as a large proportion of the role will be customer service based, dealing with phone calls and customers. A proactive individual with the ability to problem solve will do very well in this fast moving and high pressure environment. MUST be a great team player.
Other duties will include basic traffic duties i.e. collection planning, defect monitoring, possibly even route planning etc. plus dealing direct with our drivers but as discussed the role can be slightly moulded to suit the skill set.
There will also be various admin duties to perform, so good IT skills a good level of accuracy will be required.
Hours would be approx. a 10 hour day with an hour for lunch and fit within the hours of 7am to 7pm. (So 7am - 5pm, 9am - 7pm or somewhere in between)
