Our client is an established calibration and repair service company supporting engineering clients in a variety of sectors. Due to continued success they are now looking to recruit a permanent Trainee Calibration Engineer. This is a full time permanent role and will involve working both in-house and onsite at customer premises, and will require overnight stays from time to time.
The Trainee Calibration Engineer will be fully trained and assisting in calibrating electrical, mechanical and electronic measuring instrumentation to specific parameters and in line with industry standards; and will include electrical, temperature, humidity, pressure, and torque calibration.
The ideal Trainee Calibration Engineer will have some previous relevant engineering or electrical experience, but this is not essential as full training will be given. Applicants should be PC literate and have experience of MS Office - in particular Excel. A full driving licence and a minimum of two years driving experience is essential.
